France, formal investigation against the suspects of the attacks of Paris and Brussels

The main suspect of terrorist attack at the airport in Brussels, Mohamed Abrini was formally under investigation in France for terrorist attacks committed in Paris in 2015.

Abrini Mohamed, nicknamed as "the man with the hat" after being caught by security cameras along with the suicide bomber who attacked the airport in Brussels last March, was handed over to French authorities in order that they may formally charged. He was arrested last April in Brussels.

Gun and bomb attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015, left 130 people dead. Abrini is detected in a key suspect in the events of Paris, Salah Abdeslam when stopped at a gas station in Ressons two days before the attacks in the French capital. His fingerprints and DNA were found in two "shelters" in Brussels, as well as the car used during the Paris attacks.

After his arrest, he admitted that he had taken after the attacks Abdeslamin Salah and had turned her back to Belgium.

"Mohamed Abrini had traveled to Paris from Belgium with a highly armed convoy, on his investigations can be launched formally," he reported "BFMTV". He is not any question during the show before 6 French judges of a court, according to what his lawyer says Emmanuel Pierrat in a statement.

However, Pierrat said Abrini was in Belgium when the attacks took place in Paris on November 13, 2015. He added that the fact that his client is being investigated as in France and in Belgium, for the Paris attacks, can bring legal complications.

Abrini investigated in Belgium because of the bomb attack at the airport  Brussels in March last year, together with an attack on a subway station in the city killed 32 people left. Both attacks were taken over by the jihadist group Islamic State.
