    "Der Spiegel" revives debate: Trump "kills" Statue of Liberty


    Cartoons has sparked quite a debate on the cover of the German magazine "Der Spiegel", where the US president Donald Trump appears to have beheaded Statue of Liberty.

    A part of the German media criticized the cartoon, while Graf Lambsdorff, deputy president of the European Parliament described as something tasteless. The author of caricature, Elde said that the image represented Rodrogez execution by beheading of democracy.

    Analysts say the cartoons reflects damage relations between the US and Germany, as Trump lambasted open-door policy for immigrants Chancellor Angela Merkel.

    Cover of "Der Spiegel" is similar to the one that appeared in the Daily News interview York in December 2015, where Trump also appeared after the beheading of the Statue of Liberty. Public reaction to the latest caricature was quite divided as to everything about Trump.

    Many people said that was excessive, while others showed real. They unflappable while, between public and analysts feel that this cartoon is exactly what needs to Trump often used against media attacks.
